Jay Lane

Jay loves that traffic reporting is unpredictable and that no two days are ever the same. Jay came to ATN in early 2008, after compiling and presenting traffic reports out of the Brisbane Traffic Centre for two years. The last 20 years has also seen him presenting, acting, producing and reporting on TV, radio, film and stage. Jay has qualifications in Vocational Education, Business and Marketing and Journalism and has worked extensively in those fields as well. In any spare time, you’ll find him Scuba Diving and Water Skiing, and hopes to one day dive to the Titanic!

Jayce Barker

After failing to finish his studies as a Nutritionist at QLD University, Jayce found his niche as a Traffic reporter in 2002 with ATN. Starting out from humble beginnings reporting just the breaky shift for B105, Jayce now reports for Triple M Brisbane, 97.3FM and 4KQ and also across the day for Perth’s Mix94.5 and Sydney Triple M… In the afternoons you’ll find him chasing accidents from the traffic chopper for Ten News where he reports LIVE on anything from the Captain Cook Bridge congestion to house fires and the odd high speed chase!
